Post Halloween little patch


This is just a small update that ends the Halloween event, reducing the spawn chance of the scarecrow (only slightly) and returning the shop to it's original look. It also reduces the volume of some of the scarecrow sounds, such as the kill sound and the music.

I'm glad you guys are enjoying the scarecrow! I'm very proud of how he's turned out. I've experimented with some other gameplay designs for him but right now I actually quite like how he works already.

I've spent the time since working on the plot of the game, visualising future cryptids and wondering what the future of the game is? Eventually I think I might either release it on mobile with an advert or I might release it on steam  for a cheap price. I think that Among Us did a great job at being marketable as a free/cheap multiplayer game and I'd like for Cryptid Farm to remain accessible for new players, so I might end up doing something similar.

Maybe I'll keep up with these holiday themed updates and bring out a Christmas update? Who knows!
